Approximately 80% of Americans with disabilities are unemployed. Our mission is to change this by providing opportunities for personal growth, a source of income, social interaction, life skills coaching and a sense of purpose.
The Sweet P Bakery Training Program consists of two 12-week training programs that take place in an accommodating environment where students gain hands-on work experience and training. We supply each student with support and assistance as the training sessions demand. Baking 1 is our Foundations class where students learn how to follow recipes and mix, measure and bake in a commercial bakery kitchen. After successful completion of Baking 1, students move onto Baking 2, our Specialties class where students learn how to make the Sweet P Bakery treats.
